THE YEAR IN SUMMARY
Our first season has ended, and the Barrenjoey has sailed proudly amongst the Mentawai Islands and beyond.
A big thank-you to Paman Bob and Byron for helping us get here.
Conditions have not always been calm.
At the start of the year my father, Ian, passed away. At the end of the year my friend, Afnie, passed away. Both wonderful people, that will be greatly missed by all those that knew them.
The Bali catastrophe was another incident that rocked many people.
Meditation follows as one gazes at a sauntering sea from the deck.
Indonesia is still a wonderful and exciting place.
Don’t lock yourselves in a room. Get out there. Be good. Live life to the fullest. Play in the ocean. Laugh until it hurts.
Thanks to all of those who supported us over the year.
As they say here in Indonesia, “Sampai Jumpa Lagi” – Hope to see you again.
